It is very difficult for an inexperienced person to find the best school among the many art make-up schools!
The major schools are expensive for training!
If it is cheap, does it mean that the content is not good enough? I'm worried!
I'm afraid that the teachers seem to be strong-willed.
I don't think the teachers' cases at the places I can go are very beautiful.
I think you have the above concerns.
The cost of training varies widely, from 150,000 yen to 600,000 yen, and it is difficult to know which is the best.
I'm going to
[Learn from artists who are doing new things abroad]
Or
I recommend [Learning from Japanese artists who have learned from artists doing new things overseas]!
I will explain why!
I attended both major and local small-group schools in Japan.
However,
[I proceeded to practice with a lot of what I lacked in knowledge.]
I was convinced of this reality when I attended a PMU conference in the UK the other day.
I saw demonstrations and asked questions of various artists who are active in the world, and noticed the differences from what I had learned in Japan.
When I was performing the procedure in Japan, there was follow-up after the training, but in the end it is always application, so after the procedure there is a one-person review session to ask âWhat could I have done better?â and I look for answers.
When I was working at the clinic, I had one senior colleague [who didn't want to teach me], so I had the doctor follow up with him.
Recently, there are many clinics that are working as a team to raise the profile of the clinic or salon, and everyone is trying their best to raise the level of their skills.
If you are working as a subcontractor or something, some people think that by giving away their knowledge, they are taking away customers.
Sometimes I ask the doctor, but sometimes I don't get an immediate response.
I worry that if I ask too small a question, I might get in trouble.
Eventually, I scroll through INSTAGRAM and pry into what people who are good at what they do, what they use, etc.
Even though my job requires me to use my eyes a lot, I was driving myself further into eyestrain.
So was that [lack of knowledge] the fault of the instructor? I don't think that is the case.
I'm sure the instructors were teaching all the knowledge. (They were good people.)
However, the basic knowledge that is well-known worldwide as a matter of course has not reached Japan. In other words, there is a [delay in information].
A specific example is the hair stroke (machine hairline) technology that has finally entered the market recently.
Globally, there was a shift from the old blade-based hairline art makeup (microblading) to machine-based hairline art makeup (hair stroke) around 2018.
If I had known this, I would not be willing to spend the money and time to learn blade-based hairline art makeup now.
I personally agree that it would be better to spend the time practicing machine work since everything else is a machine-based technique except microblading, which can be used for other techniques such as eyebrows, eyeliner, lipstick, camouflage, etc.
However, one of the factors that make people hesitate to go abroad to learn is that some people say that Japanese teachers are better for Japanese skin.
Certainly, a teacher who has a large number of cases of treatment on Japanese people will be able to teach you the tendencies of Japanese people.
I, too, thought, âI would prefer a Japanese teacher.
However, what I actually think when I come here is that Europe is full of people of all nationalities, and many of them are Asians.
Of course, there are not only whites, there are also blacks and mixes.
In other words, artists who are active internationally have [knowledge that can be applied to any race anywhere in the world!]
However, there is no such thing as a foreigner with arched eyebrows, and preferences for design and color differ not only from country to country, but also on an individual level.
Even Japanese people have different preferences, so the basic principle of designing eyebrows according to the individual's bone structure and skeletal muscles is the same.
Therefore, I personally think there is no problem.
